Open Door

I created this image to depict the journey we are on as believer is Jesus here on earth in this age. The environment is a wilderness and it represents the world. We are in the world but not of it ( John 17:14-16 ), but while we are in the world God looks after us a protects us and never leaves us or forsakes us ( Hebrews 13:5 ). The river or stream represents the presence of God with us and the fire at the boys feet represents God's presence with us guiding us ( Psalm 119:105 ). The red doors represent Jesus as the door ( John 10:9 ), and the red represents his blood that he shed for the forgiveness of sins ( Ephesians 1:7 ). The rainbows represent God's promises to us and his covenant he has to man in Jesus Christ. ( Hebrews 12:24 ). Behind the doors is eternal life and glory which we receive in Jesus ( Romans 8:18, John 17:3 ).
I pray to God in the name of Jesus that this image inspires you in your journey here in this age, as you put your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and that he is always with you even to the end of the age ( Matthew 28:20 )

The Unveiling

This image I created is depicting the return of Jesus Christ. The unveiling comes from the meaning of the Greek word apokalupsis which is the first word in the book of Revelation in the bible, it can also be interpreted as revelation or revealing. The first line of Revelation says the revelation ( appearing, coming, manifestation, unveiling ) of Jesus Christ. The bright light is Jesus, his face shining like the bright sun ( Revelation 1:16 ). The blue streaks are angels returning with him, accompanying him on his conquest to the earth ( Revelation 19:14-16 ). All the light effects surrounding Jesus is his great power and glory as he returns on the clouds of heaven ( Matthew 24:30 ).
Lord I pray that our eyes will be opened to the unveiling of your Son, Jesus. I ask as people view this image they will be aware of his Kingship and Lordship of Jesus and that when he returns he will remove everything hindering his love. Amen

Sunrise Forest

This image I created was a photo that I had taken in Luton, England. I was on my way to church in the morning and was walking through a forest and I thought it was so beautiful with the sun rising through the fog. I added textures and a colour grade to the image to make it look sort of like an old photo print. I love God's creation.
